1.5 to 50 mm² Cu / Al PEN connector with disconnecting link
Sold individually, in packs of 9
Other cross sections available
Description
PEN connectors provide the electrical link between earth and neutral on the same connection.
The special feature of this connector is that it has an integrated sliding cut-off strip that isolates the neutral conductor for measurement in the electrical switchboard. It is dedicated to the TNC neutral system.
In the TN-C network, the neutral conductor (N) and the protection conductor (PE) are merged to form the PEN (saving a cable and an overcurrent protection pole). To protect people, the PEN conductor must never be cut. It must have a cross section equal to or greater than 10 mm² for copper and 16 mm² for aluminium in accordance with the NF C 15-100 standard.
Technical characteristics
5 N.m (4 - 16 mm²)
10 N.m (25- 50 mm²)
Connector body: tinned aluminium
An aluminium and copper terminal
While most terminals on the market only accept aluminium or copper conductors, we have terminals that accept both materials. Designed in tinned aluminium, our terminal blocks accept both incoming and outgoing aluminium and copper cables.
A compact, easy-to-use PEN terminal
Because of the way it is made, the PEN terminal block is compact and easy to use thanks to its sliding cut-off bar.
