Description

Modular distribution blocks are used to bring together incoming and outgoing electrical circuits at a single point. They are used in tertiary, industrial and photovoltaic applications.

This 125 A rated quadripolar modular terminal block has 16 connections per phase. The operating voltage is 1000 Vac/dc.

The Zelec range of distribution blocks extends from 40 A to 160 A in the bipolar and quadripolar versions. They can be snapped onto DIN rails and are sold with adapters for mounting onto base plates. Incoming and outgoing cables are flexible cables with ferrules or rigid cables. Their sloping bars make them easy to connect. The removable base ensures the safety of property and people.

We give you the option to increase the number of neutral connections on all the quadripolar distribution block from our range.

A rated short-time withstand current that is among the highest on the market

For your installation to be compliant, the splitter’s rated short-time withstand current must be greater than or equal to the short-circuit current.

Our range of distributors offers a rated short-time withstand current up to 13 kA, covering most applications on the market.

The rated short-time withstand current is the ICW. This current relates to the busbars.

The Icc is the value of the short-circuit current. This value is essential for switchboard design (the intensity of the short-circuit current given by the transformer power, the length of the cables, their diameter, etc.).

Easy to connect

The distribution block in the Zelec range are designed with sloping bars, making them easy to connect. The installer can easily and quickly reach the product’s last bars.

Reinforced insulation between phases

The splitter is supplied with a removable base.

This makes:

  • installing it easier: the product can be cabled up before being installed on the rail or base plate
  • DIN rail protection of a size perfectly adapted to the product possible – no cutting is required

In addition, the insulation between each phase prevents accidental direct contact, ensuring perfect insulation between each phase.

Easy cover opening

The soft plastic protective cover makes opening and closing it easy. It can be removed at the touch of a finger and requires no tools.

Handling is also possible in a cramped environment, such as when the distribution block is located under a wiring duct, for example.

35 mm² wiring

Unlike those of other manufacturers, our distribution blocks is designed with 9 mm diameter inputs. This means it can be wired with 35 mm² cables with ferrules, meaning that the product can be supplied in a 125 A version and avoiding the need for a 160 A splitter.

Simple cabling

Thanks to its side and separate inputs, the largest diameter is at the end of the distribution block, which makes it easy to cable the inputs. A considerable time-saver for all installers.
