Description

Narrow power connectors enable the capacity of a busbar to be increased. They are designed to be fixed to perforated or threaded copper bars. Made from high-conductivity brass, these connectors are quick and easy to install.

The C10D2 connector has 7 x 10 mm² connections and 3 x 16 mm² connections. It packs its 10 connections into a compact footprint just 120 mm long and 20 mm wide. The product can withstand up to 627 A and ensures reliable electrical connections thanks to its 8.8 class screws. It is ideal for tertiary and industrial applications.

Product tested by LCIE Bureau Veritas

Our product has been approved by the Laboratoire Central des Industries Electriques – LCIE (private electricity technical testing centre) in accordance with the 2004 NF EN 60998-2-1 standard for “Connection devices for low-voltage circuits”.

These tests guarantee the quality and reliability of the product (strength, quality of screws, heating).

The perfect size for busbars

This “narrow” 20-mm wide conductor has been developed to for use specifically with your 20 x 5 mm busbars and bigger. Its size ensures that the spacing between phases is respected to avoid short circuits.

Increase the number of connections while reducing space requirements

With its 100 mm centre distance and oblong mounting, the connector can be used with the most commonly used copper bars: threaded or perforated. This product is also compatible with solid bars.

The connector is an ideal product when the installation has a small footprint or when the number of connections needs to be increased. The C10D2 product allows 10 connections over a length of 120 mm instead of 225 mm on a perforated bar with a 25 mm pitch.

Time-saving assembly

This connector saves users a great deal of time, as it replaces the need to install cable lugs. Instead, the connector is fixed in place with just two screws.

The cables are connected using hexagonal socket head cap screws. Tightened  is performed using an L-shaped Allen key rather than a conventional screwdriver, making it easier to access the tool in cramped environments.
