Description

A current transformer is used to reduce the primary current to a standardised value (1 or 5 A) in order to adapt to the current inputs of multifunction meters, energy meters and transducers.

Frer current transformers provide galvanic isolation for critical electrical circuits.

When the installation’s short-circuit current is high (> 10 kA), it is advisable to use current transformers to connect equipment such as an energy meter or a multifunction meter.

They are designed to meet the various needs of industrial and tertiary installations.
